We were traveling with our dog, which wasn’t a problem at all for the owner. There is parking nearby, but during the day it’s usually occupied by workers from the neighboring market. We initially parked on a parallel street and later, when spots opened up in the evening, we moved the car closer to the hotel. The apartment was cozy and clean, with a comfortable bed. Don’t be put off by the nearby construction materials market — everything a tourist might need is close by.

We booked this hotel only for the location. Sadly, we were asked to pay extra if we wanted view of bosphorus without those trees blocking all the drama. We were disappointed that the bed on mezzanine floor has its frame broken so we were extremely cautious while using it. Don’t wake up early for breakfast, it was just 1 egg, few slices of tomato, few pieces of olives, and 2 slices of cheese. Nothing else. But the staff were nice, you knew they wanted to help but restricted of resources.
