Traditional 120 year-old okinawan interior offering a genuine experience of life on Ishigaki in past times. Hammocks are perfect after a day of activity. All facilities are minimal but well sufficed for stay.

the location was great for us as we don't mind a walk and it was only a 10-15 mins into the port and main centre of town. This also allowed us to check out eating places and shops. We would rather enjoy beautiful accommodation than close proximity to then centre of town. The owner lives in the house on the property. Very quiet with a beautiful friendly dog. The garden was shady and the 10 year old house full of character. Easy check in for that time. He let us in the gate when he heard the taxi as we missed the message about buzzing the intercom. sorry. Internet good . There was a number of great local restaurants and supply shops near. Would definitely stay again, and bring some coffee!! One slept in the bed the other the futon on floor. It was comfortable. Kitchen and bed facilities for many. Thank you. Loved it!

What a perfect accomodation full of character, my most favourite place we stayed at during our trip in Japan. It was cozy, it was special, a bit adventurous, great locality and close to get to all the beaches in the area on the bike. Owners were so friendly and always happy to help us with everything we needed. I loved my evenings sat in the swinging chair so much that I'm going to get one for my house now too! Thank you so much for being so welcoming! We loved getting to meet you and Cinnamon :)
