The Secret Garden was perfect for our needs -nice large bedrooms with lots of little extra touches provided. Lovely and warm as you stepped in through the door and ample hot water and lovely bathrooms. The grounds are so beautiful and to be able to wander in the woodlands and paddocks as if they were your own was the highlight for us. We were made to feel so welcome and left to come and go as we pleased. It is rural and I did have concerns about the lanes but Alasdair provided plenty of info and directions so it really wasn't an issue and so well sign-posted you can't go wrong. This really is a special place to stay - we drew the curtains to find deer in the back garden . 4 nights really wasn't enough to enjoy all that's on offer -Thank you for sharing your beautiful home .

We self catered, though some food was provided. The location was in the country, and nice and quiet.
