Wonderful villa and pool and great service from Mario - he was there for our delayed late arrival, sorted out wi-fi when it went down and provided a huge home cooked Croatian meal for us one evening. He would have been a great source of knowledge for those wanting recommendations.

Villa Antea is located in a rural setting just outside the sleepy town of Imotski. It offered us a quiet setting to de-stress and relax in the Croation countryside away from the the tourist hustle and bustle. Mario, his wife and extended family were very hospitable, kind and generous with their time showing us around town and introducing us to their favourite local shops and restaurants. We loved the layout of the house and the spacious pool area; the heated and clean pool; the abundance of practical and functional furniture both in the house and outdoor patio areas. It was well air conditioned against the summer heat. Bathrooms were clean and well appointed. Beds were comfortable. Loads of cupboards and storage. The table tennis facility was great for the family. We loved the pergola outdoor dining area. We were very surprised and appreciative of the Host's complimentary cans of coke, beers and the lovingly prepared meal by Mario's family - it was a very nice touch that made us feel very welcomed. When we wanted a beach swim, the nearest beach was only a pleasant and picturesque 40 min drive away. We thoroughly recommend Villa Antea for a quiet, countryside getaway.
