A hotel with annexe in a village with no other amenities to speak of, unusually for Germany. I had a comfortable annexe room with balcony, 50 metres or so from the main building. The evening meals were interesting and of high quality. Beware, though, book in advance of arrival to be sure of a table.

Great breakfast, friendly and very helpful staff. It's not a fancy big chain, instead a relaxing small friendly hotel with good food. Great value and made a refreshing change after spending a week staying in big hotels that got a bit overcrowded at times, especially breakfast - whereas here was very relaxing and comfortable.
