The people that run the place are really great - so friendly and helpful when it comes to information, booking tours or any problems you may have (they even let me check in early and check out late). The rooms are basic but everywhere in the building, from the rooms to the communal bathrooms are exceptionally clean/tidy and the beds are warm and comfortable. A really well run place.

The house is very new and the owner takes pride in the building. The room we stayed in was simple but spacious and very clean. We slept super well under all the warm fluffy blankets and on the fluffy mattress topper. They have different room options for different needs and budgets. The Guesthouse is family owned and they are living there two. They are super friendly, made us feel very welcome and had all the information about the area we needed. We had the feeling that we got looked after and are not only paying guests in a room. They speak very good English, which made the communication very easy for us, even though we speak a little Spanish. The owner is a professional mountain guide too and offers tracks like Santa Cruz. Unfortunately we only had one night and couldn’t go on any big hikes but the owner helped us out with information about the hikes which would be suitable for us. The place is a little outside the city center in a quite neighborhood. just right to get away from the noise of the last big city and enjoy some beautiful mountain nature.

Alpino Guest House is an excellent place in Huaraz. The owners are very friendly and can give a lot of informations. The owner is also a mountain guide so don't hesitate to join his tours. They have treated us very kindly. The rooms are very nice, everything is super clean. The area is calm so you can get a good rest after your hikes and its a good location to go hiking. Beds are really comfortable and each room has a table and chairs. They have a nice terrace where you can enjoy your morning coffee. Hot showers and nice bathrooms. Would recommend your stay here.
