Breakfast was very filling and the coffee was excellent. Despite the language barrier we communicated excellently via booking.com and in person with a translator app. Our hosts were very very lovely. We also made friends with their pet cat and dogs.

We got picked up at the station by the lovely lady and her son. They helped us arranging a rental scooter. After we got stuck in Taroko due to the earthquake we couldn’t return to the B&B. When we returned the next day we were moved by all the emotions of the family. Would definitely recommend staying here when visiting Taroko!

The location of the B&B is somewhat close to the Taroko visitor center. If you need to go there by bus you either need to walk to the Xincheng railway station to take the bus or to the station for the local bus near the 7-11 maket. For the latter option the bus takes arount 1h to the visitor center. The hosts were very nice to rent me a bicycle for the duration of my stay, which made the visits to the Taroko gorge very convienent. The room was big enough for two persons. The breakfast was delicious and the host very kind and explained everything in the beginning.
