I stayed in a private room. Good value for money with comfortable bed. Relatively small hostel with just a couple of rooms. Good kitchen space and common areas. Secure parking available for a 10 dollar fee

The area is not nice but pretty convenient. Lots of information about Houston are available at the reception.
