Arnanes is a beautiful country house, warm and comfortable, a few minutes away from Hofn. The room was very nice with a balcony, a table and a kettle, and most importantly there was a sink in the room. Breakfast was very nice, just like other breakfasts we had around Iceland. We had a room with shared facilities: one facility had a shower and a toilet, the other one had just a toilet. So there was just one shower for 3 rooms.

Lovely location, very easy to find (just off the road 1) great views, very quiet. Rooms are spacious & comfy. Staff friendly & helpful.

Very comfortable rooms, good breakfast and a very quiet location not far from the nearest town. Book a restaurant dinner in town as soon as you can for dinner if the on-site restaurant is not open. A good place for night photography if the sky is cloud free. On the right side of town if your next stop is the glacier.

This hotel is really cozy and warm, we really love it from the cute nature room to breakfast - i really need to point the girl on reception Dimitra - she is so sweet and welcoming, we really appreciate her because no much people on Iceland is that sweet like her and i think tourist would love it - she made our stay more happy :) !!
