The ryokan room is a tiny but charming place to stay as a foreigner, and see something a bit different from european style hotel. The hosts I met were nice, and it is just 10 minutes walk from the peace park (with the hiroshima memorials and museum) and street car to the train station is just 5 minutes walk (then 25 minutes ride)

Staff very friendly, and room was very nice. Yukata provided was also very nice. Tattoos allowed in the public bath, no need to cover (including large ones!).

Easy to locate. Good location for sightseeing. Host provided a kimono style dressing gown and slippers each. Nice touch.

Closeness to Peace Park was great. And the no 2 and 6 tram route, which we used to and from the station, and the trip to Miyajima. Great bakery nwarby
