Beautiful property, very practical with a shared kitchen and balcony, excellent location, the rumble of the train was actually wonderful and Gayan is the best host. He will help you with anything, tours, transport, he is doing everything himself so don't hesitate to ask! Thank you for a wonderful stay in Hikkaduwa!

The guesthouse looks recently renovated, extremely neat, clean, and comfortable. Looks just like the pictures. Rooms have good AC, hot water, and also a ceiling fan. There is a kitchen and a common dining area, which is very convenient. There are plenty of places to eat around the location. The owner is a nice man, happy to help with anything, and very communicative. I ended up staying there longer than planned, for over a week, enjoying the beach and chill vibe of Hikkaduwa.

City Sunrise is very central to the town and the beach. It is not on the main road, but directly next to the train tracks. For us it was ok, but the backrooms are quieter. The property was very clean and the host responded immedeatly to all our questions. A big bonus is the kitchen, that can be used to cook or have breakfast. The room itself was nice and big and we had a good time in Hikkudawa.
