Provided you pick a larger room the hotel is a good place in Heraklion. The rooms are good with above average facilities. The staff were particularly good at helping with restaurants, transport and other advice. Breakfasts were very good and the Hotel looked after our luggage while we travelled in Crete.

The staff was very friendly, the location is very central, breakfast also really nice. We were informed in advance of the self check in process and it was very easy.

The staff at the reception was extremely friendly and accommodating. We didn't want to install the hotel app and they didn't mind. Considering I really do not want to install an app for every hotel I ever visit I was at least happy that they didn't turn this into an unnecessary conversation. The breakfast was quite nice, Some fresh fruits and vegetables, eggs, sausage and bacon, as well as jams, flakes and cakes, even the coffee was quite decent. All in all, if a good breakfast is what you're looking for, this is the place for you. Our room had a lovely terrace with a view of the harbor and the sea. While they don't have their own parking, the harbor parking is less than 10mins away and costs 3 EUR per day (per day, not per 24h), so a reasonable deal for those traveling by car. The location is great as you are effectively in the town center - lots of great restaurants and bars a couple of minutes of walking away.
