1/ The context - I was traveling with my 15 years old son in July. 2/ Everything was perfect - the yurt is quite big actually, it has king size bed, sofa, coffee table, sink and toilette - e.g. it is much bigger than domes / igloos. Very clean, in July it had perfect temperature (no overheating during the day and not too cold during night (this is huge difference vs. domes that overheat during the day and stay very cold during night). 3/ The hosting crew from Poland - Gosia and Mateusz - were super friendly, e.g. served us late breakfast (my son overslept). We had also nice chat. 4/ The location is perfect - directly close to the golden circle road, close to Geysir and waterfall Gullfoss (and also meeting point for Glacier snowbike tours) among others.

Super cozy, it was raining when we were there and hearing the rain drops on the canvas was very soothing. The design was great. It was very quiet and peaceful and it was a huge plus to have a toilet and sink with running water inside (as well as fridge and a kettle).

We loved the idea of staying in a yurt, and the concept had great potential — a modern, cozy twist on traditional camping. Though the bed was comfortable and the yurt was warm, the actual overall experience fell short.
