Breakfast was excellent with a large choice available, both full English and Continental. Scrambled eggs available as standard, other styles cooked to order. The public rooms are an absolute delight, button back leather suites abound, large picture windows and superb stucco ceilings remind one of a stately home. The jewel in the crown is the staff, every one we came across was an absolute credit to the hotel, from the room cleaners to the dining room staff they were superb. Special mentions to both Zoe and Josh. They helped with our luggage and to find a car parking space which was a great help to someone with mobility problems. All in all it was a brilliant stay and we really enjoyed our 4 night break.

The overall ambience of the hotel was fabulous. Friendly staff, fantastic food, plenty of places to sit and read and also very central, with lots of lovely parks and gardens

Location is excellent, the blue badge parking was particularly useful - we booked it in advance anc that worked well.
