Hotel Keese is a nice little hotel in Hamburg. We found it quiet and comfortable , but in terms of value for money very good. Street outside 'feels' a bit rough, but we were in early and tired so no dramas there.

Nice and friendly staff; check-in and out went smoothly. I read negative reveiws concerning the noise. It certainly wasn't quiet because of the clubs, but didn't bother me much. The room size is suitable for a single bed I'd say as a double bed doesn't leave much space at all. However, it's understandable from their viewpoint as they can only do business based on the occupancy. Overall, a nice budget hotel and certainly a decent value for money.

It is a great location if you want to have fun and enjoy the nightlife of Hamburg, so don't expect it to be quiet. However, to my surprise, I still slept well, and the music from the disco area was not bothersome. It is convenient if you want to go clubbing and don't want to worry about how to get back to your hotel.
