There was a good car park. The bars were lovely, with different areas in which to sit. The landlord was new to the pub (only 2weeks in) and was really trying to make customers welcome. The room was comfortable ( needed an easy chair), the bathroom was warm, clean and well equipped.

This is an exceptionally nice little country pub/hotel. Very atmospheric and a perfect place for a short trip. We were welcomed by a really friendly and knowledgeable proprietor who couldn't do enough for us. Value for money was also great.
