The garden and the onsen is lovely. The house can be quite cold when the weather is chilly, the breakfast could have been much better : (

We had a wonderful stay at the 山家莊hotel this weekend, the crew were super friendly and helpful, especially the lady who was taking care of our meal and room, she treated us very well with warm heart, it feels like being taking care of by grandma. The room and food were classic Japanese style , there were really a lot of food, the wagyu shabu shabu, fish sashimi and eel hotpot were very delicious!
