A beautiful, old-timey hotel in Hakone, full of charm. The staff was exceptionally kind, the facilities immaculate, and we absolutely loved the outdoor bathtub. The room was spacious and equipped with every amenity we needed. Some minor issues, but none are the fault of the hotel, the staff, or the location—which, like everything in this extraordinary country, Japan, remains absolutely perfect.

Wonderful bath on the balcony. Amazing massage at the spa - would 100% recommend. Food was nice and really traditional. Beautiful location. Nice drinks machines and gestures around the hotel.
