The breakfast was an excellent Japanese style menu featuring a variety of small and delicious dishes. If you are not a fan of the idea of fish for breakfast or prefer more Western dishes then you'd probably want breakfast elsewhere but as the accommodation is a traditional Japanese Inn the menu was not shocking and again, very tasty.

The staff gave us a warm and thoughtful welcome, taking the time to explain the hotel’s spaces and rules. The building itself feels like stepping back in time, with a slightly old-fashioned charm (in the best way!). Everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Dinner was incredible - definitely one of the highlights of our trip. If you have the chance to experience a traditional kaiseki style dinner, please do it at Senkyoro! We really enjoyed the onsen, both the gender-separated baths and the private 45-minute session. The amenities and facilities, including the shampoos and other toiletries, were excellent. We also absolutely loved our traditional Japanese room. The staff took care of setting up and putting away the futons during dinner and breakfast, which made the experience feel extra special.

Nice to see japaneese culture on display in food, clothes, decor.. Lovely gardens and waterfall in area Close to bus stop Outdoor mineral onsen was great.
