The location was away from the main street, which we liked. The walk to the location up a hill, less than 10 minutes from the station, was very pleasant. The dinner was excellent. Delicious and generous. We used the rooftop onsen. Staring out at the moon while relaxing in the waters was so special.

The Japanese dinner is amazing (note: you must like eating raw fish/seafood)! They were little dishes, but so many of them that we were just stuffed by the end. The quality and flavors were on point & my kids will forever remember the little desert at the end (jellies that you pop out of a balloon & flavor) :-)

Excellent Hotel and service. Great location and fantastic facilities, including outdoor and indoor Onsen. The Japanese Style room was very spacious and clean. If you are looking for a Hotel in Hakone, look no further as Senkei is perfect.

OMG! Everything! Truthfully, this accommodation was by far the best of our 3 week holiday in Japan. It was a true experience!!! The Onsen was fantastic. It is a walk up the hill to the property, but not terrible, even in summer. I would recommend only taking a bus if you really need it. Book your stay here, it is worth it!!!!!
