Instant noodles are available for purchase at the on-site shop.Guests travelling to the property by bus are advised to catch the bus bound for Hakonecho, from Odawara Station or Hakone-Yumoto Station, and get off at the Ashinoyu bus stop.The property does not serve meals to children for 0-2 years old.Guests must check in by 18:00 to eat dinner at this property. Guests who check in after this time may not be served dinner, and no refund will be given.

Extremely welcoming! I opted to have dinner included which was typically amazing. There's plenty of time to do the activities in the area and be back for dinner. I recommend the private onsen too as an added experience to your stay. There are no restaurants around so bring snacks. The local bus service is extremely frequent and connects stress free to where you need to go. Can recommend getting a Hakone pass for easy access to all the local travel options, cable car, lake cruise etc I didn't see Fuji but have before so not too disappointed!!

The hotel has an "old vibe", but the rooms are spacious and it is pretty comfortable. The outside onsen was small, but really nice

It's a classic onsen. Old skool Ryokan that's been around for over 100 years but seems to have been renovated in the 80s during the bubble era. All this was nostalgic to me and reminded me of going to onsen with my parents as a child. Location is not too bad considering it's up in the mountains. About 10 mins bus ride to the lake from where you can go up a volcano.
