The property was very traditional with wonderful rooms. The onsen was excellent and incredibly peaceful. The hotel was peaceful and the staff very helpful and friendly.

I loved the authentic Japanese experience that this facility offered, from the tatami mats and futons to the shoji blinds and private onsen. Nearby attractions were easily accessible by public transit but we did experience a few challenges. The public transit is exact cash only, and we did not access the Hakone Free pass in time to use it.

Stunning location in the forest which was close to many places to visit such as waterfalls, onsens & Mt Fuji. Also close to lots of restaurants. The front desk staff were very sweet & helpful to our requests.

Absolutely beautiful, the best place I stayed at yet. The location is a bit far but that’s the beauty of the place, to be surrounded by mountains and trees and experience a relaxing stay. The onsen was wonderful, quiet, and the location superbe. The staff was lovely and so helpful, they provided us with everything as well as a tour of the place. I regret only booking one night, I will definitely be back and have a longer stay in this beautiful place!
