Very comfortable and clean. Every effort made to keep out any unwanted jungle animals. The cooking was delicious and plentiful! Above all - our host Jeewa was the MOST helpful and friendly Sri Lankan person we have met. He helped arrange ALL our activities and transportations. He looked after us all so well. We had the best time EVER here and we are sorry we had to leave.

The hotel owner, and his family provided the most excellent and gracious service. He provided us with a very experienced and wildlife-knowledgeable driver for a safari in Minneriya National Park.he also recommended a very valuable Ayurvedic massage center to us. We also went on a local village traditional tour and elephant bathing around the Habarana area.he was very helpful in organizing trips to those places and we were able to arrange them at local rates. Also, Jeewa, with his friendly nature, took us to see the ruins of Sigiriya, Dambulla and Polonnaruwa at reasonable prices. His wife, Masha, prepared delicious organic meals for us using local spices. We got the same place for both lunch and dinner because we had such a delicious meal. We felt at home in the peaceful surroundings. This small hotel, run by his family, is located in the middle of a village with a very nice and rustic atmosphere. We will definitely come back to see them.

This homestay is so wonderful. The rooms are new and sparkling clean. Jeewa, Masha and Oleena are beautiful people that make you feel so very welcome. They provide wonderful help and advice on what to do in the area and how to do it. All they suggested was great and at very good prices. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. I didn’t want to leave.

Jeewa and his family were such kind, warm and attentive hosts. Jeewa was very helpful with organising trips and practical help. Whenever we needed him, or to ask questions, it felt like he was available. Highly recommend staying here!!!
