Absolute highlight of our trip staying at the homestay, with all of our tours sorted for a great price plus home cooked meals as well which were delicious and cheap. Will definitely be sending friends and family back here, great pool as well to relax amongst the sounds of the jungle!

Amazing cabin and pool and very friendly host. We enjoyed a home-cooked meal most of the nights we stayed which was amazing. Furthermore they arranged a nice safari for us.

It was very peaceful. We were alone there, having everything for ourselves. Monkeys, birds, squirrels and us in a private swimming pool. Great food, coffee and location. The price is well worth it.

The hospitality here is outstanding. Lasantha, the host, goes above and beyond to ensure guests have everything they need, whether it’s giving directions, arranging transport, or answering questions. He even owns a tuk-tuk and is more than happy to take guests on sightseeing tours for a reasonable price. He took us to Sigiriya Rock for sunrise and Pidurangala Rock for sunrise, waited for us and then bought us back. His wife is equally wonderful, serving up a variety of delicious breakfasts every morning. Their warmth and kindness are evident in every interaction. She even made dinner for us one evening which was lovely. Throughout our stay, they continued to offer thoughtful gestures like assisting with laundry and checking in regularly. They were always just a message or call away whenever we needed anything. It’s truly rare to find such attentive and considerate hosts. The room itself was clean, with aircon and hot water, and a lovely balcony space to sit in. There is also a pool! All for a fraction of the cost of a hotel.
