Smart “Nice stay next to the lake”

Great jungle setting with good birdwatching, friendly staff and clean comfortable rooms. Pool was very nice. Short tuk tuk ride from the town.

The rooms should have television set so that the guest don't feel bored during night. We got scammed by the Safari ride arranged by the hotel management. We were informed that the ride should last for 3-4 hours but was only for 2 hours plus We barely saw any animals. Only few elephants , 2 peacocks and few birds. Once we reach the hotel we realise that the Safari ride was the to Minneriya National park but instead they took us to kawudulla eco park Information was given by one of the Hotel guest
