The hosts, Henk and Annemarie, went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Breakfast was simply delightful. It was prepared with love and care, and we felt happy to wake up each morning. The room was spacious and clean, and the location was great. We were sad to say goodbye at the end of our stay.

The hotel is in walking distance of the train/bus station in the middle of all the attractions and near the bus to the beaches and also to the airport. Surrounded by restaurants and shops. We had a good strong fan in the room. The room was spotless and cleaned daily. The host and hostess excelled in their friendly approach and the breakfast was made on the spot with fresh orange juice for starters.

We had previously spent 10 very enjoyable but busy days with our family in various locations, after they returned home, my wife and I wanted to relax for a couple days to before we returned home. Haarlem and in particular the Malts hotel met all our expectations. Henk and Annemarie were the perfect hosts. A great source of information and recommendations. We could not fault the accommodation, the excellent breakfast and the location. We hope to return soon.

Breakfast excellent and varied. Freshly squeezed orange juice a bonus. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. For example, they gave us useful advice about visiting Amsterdam and about the facilities in Haarlem.
