We stayed in a Superior Suite on the top floor that looked out over the back of the hotel onto the Calle de Alonso up to the Monumento Al Pipila. The room was plenty big enough and had a couple of comfy chairs and a settee. The bathroom was fine. The hotel reception staff were generally very friendly although the overnight lady could have been a tad cheerier. The breakfast staff cheered up more as the stay went on although the lady serving from the hot vats of food was always very friendly. The wifi was good and allowed us to check emails and listen to Radio Caroline's internet broadcasts. The back room was very noisy at night because of a nightclub playing dreadful "music" until about 3am in the morning. My earplugs helped.
