You will stay in a basic apartment block between local residents, so you will feel like you're part of the local neighbourhood. Breakfast is at the hotel "office" a few houses down the road which also serves as the parcel pick-up place while you are enjoying break, which adds to the community feeling. I really loved the vibe :-)

Felt good to be supporting a community initiative. A pleasant walk away from Groningen North train station so free travel on my Interrail pass. Breakfast was lovely & it was great to meet Durk who painted some of the decoration in the property & the breakfast room.
