Amazing beautiful place in the very center of the old town. A place with a history and unique atmosphere. Wonderful host and breakfast and a full size bath are a huge benefit. Enjoyed every moment. Highly recommended! Probably the best stay for a while in France. Many thanks to the host and hope to come back one day. For travelers with a big bag could be a bit uncomfortable to get the bag up and down a cosy spiral stairs. Otherwise perfect! It can be a bit loud in the evening due to a bar nearby, but it’s far from being too loud. And the place is wonderful.

Wow!This was an unforgettable stay. Beautiful room in a traditional French house, great ambience and a great host who prepared an excellent breakfast for me. I would love to come back sometime in the future. This is definitely the best place to stay in Granville!

It was an absolutely fantastic stay. Frederic could not have tried harder to make it a wonderful time. He even made sure we had breakfast when we had to leave at 6am on the last day. I can’t recommend it enough.

We loved our stay at Frederic's house. We couldn't have asked for a better place while visiting Granville. The property is a beautiful historic building right in the centre of Granville, with shops and cafes at your doorstep. Our room was big and comfortable. Frederic and his wife are incredibly welcoming, not to mention the delicious breakfast they prepared for us during our stay. I can not recommend La Maison des Matignon enough. We loved it, and it made our holiday even more memorable. Merci! Elodie
