The 2nd floor apartment overlooked a closed carpark and market, but you could look out the window both ways into the street below, and over to the nearby pastry shop. This was a great location in the middle of many nearby interesting things, such as the lovely Cathedral around the corner, the wide shopping street at the end of the street, the Turkish quarter across the road with its small cobblestone streets, and many nearby restaurants and nearby bars (with tapis) of high quality. The apartment was very clean and well furnished with an open kitchen, living and lounge room which felt spacious. Large windows with double glazing to take away outside noise. And shutters and drapes.
