I chose Claudio and Theresa’s property because of the possibility of viewing wildlife and birds from their balcony. And the price point. Claudio and Theresa are very welcoming hosts. Theresa showed me my room (sparse but adequate), the separate downstairs bathroom and the balcony area overlooking the garden and stream where one might see wildlife and birds. I saw an Agouti (rodent like squirrel) and a couple of small birds but the wet weather kept other species away. Theresa cooked a lovely piece of fresh tuna with rice and salad for dinner at US$10.

Wonderful friendly hospitality, made me feel very welcome and comfortable, a lovely cooked dinner and 5.30 am airport drop off. Thanks for a lovely stay 🙂

Owners were very nice, accomodating and guiding. It's a walking distance from many restaurants and even a river walk right there at their backyard. Also, their backyard is a hilly forest. You can see agouties and many coloful birds while having breakfast.
