Great location, walking distance to centre. Comfortable beds, lovely outdoor terrace, kitchen well stocked. Parking nearby is very useful

The property, on first sight, was a little non-descript, in a side street of Gent. We had to contact the owners for the key box code, and they sent it complete with photo's for the underground parking opposite (EU 10 per day.). However, on entering the property, we found a very high, very clean finish. The standard of accommodation was excellent, double bedrooms (1 down, 2 up.) comfortable, and all manner of kitchen equipment, including washing machine, should it be required. The shower was of a proper dimension, and HOT! (Perfect for me.) Separate toilet, downstairs. HUGE opening French doors at the back of the house, with access to a small courtyard area, with seating. Comfortable large sofas in the lounge. Bar on the corner, 20 metres away, brewery, with shop, next-door-but-one. (What's not to like?) Close to the town centre, 15 mins walk, which has a busy night-life this time of year. Artisan market about 200 metres away, which is perfect for breakfast goods and coffee.
