The hotel was originally a plaza hotel, the staff advised it’s just been taken over a month ago. For what we paid we still had the plaza standards for our room. The staff were all very helpful and pleasant. We only needed somewhere to sleep so that was perfect, we weren’t looking for a hotel with other facilities. Would recommend.

Good sized room with useful kitchenette. Everything worked. Quiet room on 12th floor with good view of the river & weir. A food store just around the corner at the next junction and a good selection of Restaurants further along the same side of the river towards the 'must visit' Canadian Museum of History. Bus stop a couple of hundred metres away for getting into town.

The location is very convenient (easy to get there, plenty of comfy and luxury cafés around), and the receptionist was kind and helpful. We stayed in a room on the 9th floor, and the view was amazing — from certain angles, we could even see the Parliament! The room was spacious with a large, comfortable bed. It had an iron, a coffee machine, and — to our pleasant surprise — a mini fridge. Near the coffee machine, there were also cups, sugar, and tea, which we appreciated. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!
