We self catered. The kitchen was not properly equipped for self catering. Presumably most guests do not self cater. The kitchen was large but didn't have basic pots, pans, kitchen utensils, chopping board etc for cooking breakfast or an evening meal.

Cannot praise enough, it was a huge surprise! I was expecting something good, but not perfect! We really loved every aspect of this place. The house is beautiful, well decorated, very comfortable furniture, well designed space, great outdoor warm pool and amazing views. The kids were thrilled to see the animals from their bedroom window (horses, sheep, etc). We also had an expected visit on Christmas night, a female Impala! Just outside, wandering quietly. I can imagine myself travelling all the way from Europe to SA again just to stay here once more. Most probably we will. Our days around Gansbaai were unforgettable and this place contributed greatly to our sweet memories.

This is definitely a wonderful place and we had so much fun in the hot tub and the braai facilities was top.
