Guests are required to provided Photo ID containing a date of birth to check in. Passport, Driving License & National ID only accepted. The Credit card provided must match the name and details of the booking and is required to be presented on arrival The Dawson Galway is an alcohol-free zone.Please note that towels are charged at EUR 2 each. For group bookings of 3 people or more, a refundable security deposit may be required of €25 per person. This is payable on arrival by cash or credit card and is fully refundable on departure, subject to adherence to house rules.For Groups of 8 or more different booking policies and terms apply. A 25% non refundable deposit is required on Booking and outstanding balance is payable 4 weeks in advance of arrival. All payments are Non Refundable.Please note that photo IDs are required at check-in and must display the date of birth. All persons under 18 years old are not permitted to stay in dorm rooms. There a maximum stay policy of 7 Nights. We do not offer long term accommodation. All other bookings are charged up to 3 days in advance of arrival. Failed Payment can result in the reservation being cancelled.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

The location was perfect, the hostel super clean and extremely well organised, the breakfast perfect for our needs, the staff extremely friendly, attentive and professional ... our family room was just what we needed and was surprisingly quiet! I really liked the layout in the very well-planned kitchen area and the lounge area. Also the free tea and coffee in the kitchen.

The staff are super friendly and helpful, the common areas are as clean as possible as the traffic is pretty high, and I have a good rest for most of 5nights, there was 1 night where the occupants of next room got rowdy but after I went to the reception, they came up to remind them it's 3am..things quiet down immediately.
