We loved our 4 night stay at Yara Galle Fort. The room was generously sized with high ceilings and a very comfortable bed - as well as efficient air conditioning and an effective ceiling fan. The location was superb. Short walking distance to the wonderful ramparts of the fort - a magical place at any time of day but especially so at sunrise and sunset. It was also close to excellent restaurants, like the Ceylon Curry House. The staff were fantastic - very approachable and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

This was an amazing place to stay. Where to start? The location is perfect to experience Galle Fort. The building has the old-world Portuguese charm we were so looking forward to. The rooms were fantastic, great detail in their design to add to the charm. The bathrooms were beautiful and the bed was to die for!

Lovely accommodation in Galle Fort. Delicious Sri Lankan breakfast. Great location for exploring Galle fort with all attractions within easy walking distance. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful during the stay. Big comfortable rooms. Would recommend if staying in Galle Fort
