The location was good on the edge of town, the area was quiet and peaceful in January. The view of the Ria Formosa was pleasant and the sunrises and sunsets lovely. There was plenty of parking available outside the apartment. It was a short walk into the town with a good choice of restaurants available. A car is essential if one wants to go sightseeing, but there is a regular train service to Faro westwards and Vila Real de Santo Antonio eastwards.
