John helped us arrange a taxi driver who met us at the airport. Then Vanessa met us at the villa, showed us around, and gave us great local tips. Our flight was delayed so we arrived quite late but both the driver and Vanessa still met us and that was great. Everything was clean and comfortable, very well kitted out. We loved the pool. The villa really lives up to the pictures online. The view is simply stunning. The small garden is fab, flowers smell gorgeous. We took a day trip with Antonio as our driver and guide and had a wonderful day touring the island. He is a super guide. We learnt a lot and had great fun. There is a cafe and grocery shop a few mins walk away. We walked into Funchal several times. Its took us about 25 to 30 mins walk to the centre, its very hilly and no footpaths in places, so we got the Bolt app to order a drive back, found that very handy and reasonably priced. The villa is really beautiful.

Beautifully located villa with a lovely private pool overlooking a banana plantation and with fantastic views over Funchal harbour.
