Great location with amazing view of Funchal! Loved pool and bbq outside. The owner was responding very promptly so any issues could be sorted out straight away.

Fantastic views, kids loved the swimming pool, bus stop and taxis around the corner, lovely spacious accommodation, will hopefully return again soon.

We were met by Patricia, our host, who was available when needed. This is a very spacious house on 3 levels with 2 sitting rooms, 24 double rooms, 2 twins and a single, with most of them being ensuite - much bigger than we expected. It has fantastic views over Funchal and watching the sunrise/set is beautiful. There is a convenient bus and taxi stand very nearby (the no.19 bus gets you into town in just 10 minutes). There is a nice bakery/cafe nearby, as well as a small supermarket 10 minutes walk away. Having a well kitted kitchen also was much appreciated and used. The house was clean and comfortable for our family. The beds were comfortable too. There is also a small clean swimming pool (with a shallow end, and a deeper end around 6 ft - the kids enjoyed it but it was slightly cold for me when we went), as well as a barbecue area, washing machine and drying area. Madeira is beautiful, clean and safe island with great food, stunning nature and friendly people - well worth a visit!

Exceptionally welcoming and helpful hosts. Large house with everything what You need. Terraces and pool. Parking inside. Local cafes and restaurants nearby. Nice walk downhill to the city center. Nice walk uphill to the Monte mountain.
