The size of apartment was good for family with 1 child. The location is also good if you don’t mind walking up the hill (really up the hill!!) or you have a car. There are cleaning supplies which can be used, such as laundry detergent, soap.. Kitchen is well equipped with more than enough dishes and utensils. You will be able to cook for a family there. There is bakery in the building with very delicious pastries and good coffee.

FABULOUS. We were initially staying in the North, and finally decided to spend the last 2 nights here in Funchal. We really wish we had stayed here the whole time!! The apartment was amazing, everything we needed and more. Fully equipped, the bed was super comfortable, closed parking space, you could walk to downtown in 15 min, but most importantly: THE VIEWS. What a treat to have, during the day you could see the sea, and at night the whole town lit up, from both the living room and the bedroom. We really could have not asked for better, would return any time.

There are nice views from balcony. We complained about broken pans, somebody brought new set next day. There is a bakery shop and a small shop just downstair,supermarket by driving 5minutes.

Nice apartment. Location is good if you don't mind to stay out of the touristic area. Beautiful view over Funchal, even a building construction on going. Amazing coffee & portuguese pastry shop and supermarket at the ground floor. Public transport at the door. Best CarPark on the building garage. Free fast internet broadband. All domestic appliances available. Free amazing coffee but no sugar :)
