The location is great. The old town with endless restaurants and bars is a five minute walk away. Two large supermarkets and the famous Farmers' Market are also very close by. A huge bonus for us was the fact that the apartment comes with a car parking space in the underground garage. The apartment has everything you would want for a holiday. Towels and linen are provided and changed regularly. The kitchen is fully stocked with all necessary utensils. The apartment has a small balcony with views of the harbour. Even though the apartment building is situated on a fairly busy road, no traffic noise could be heard at any time.

Spacious apartment with views towards hill and sea. Very convenient for the cable car, market and all the resturants in the Old Town - Santa Maria. Just 10 minutes walk downhill (did mean there was an uphill walk after dinner!) But that ws OK

Large, comfortable apartment with high-quality finishes. Central location, 10 minute walk to Mercado dos Lavradores, bars, restaurants, cable car and large Pingo Doce supermarket. Nice balcony with view to harbour. Immaculately clean. Comfortable beds. Plenty of storage space. The owner was very friendly and met us on arrival and departure.
