Yes the outside looks a bit old, but the room is just fine. Two big beds, enough room compared to what I imagined, all required appliances. Feels like what you imagine of living in Japan. Good location too.

Simple, but perfectly suited to my trip (few nights as a solo traveller). Could find the place easily using Google Maps. Check in was through an online link I received, worked fine. 15 mins walk from Hakata station and a bit of a walk away from all the central shopping malls etc, but very close to all the (gay)bars in Sumiyoshi.

Around 20 minutes' walking distance from Hakata Station. There is hot water, but it took time to adjust. There are Aeon groceries, Family Mart and Sunny for grocery shopping. Quite neighbourhood, but it tends to get a bit noisy at night, but I still have a good sleep as I'm too tired 😅. The owner is very responsive to any query. The room is quite spacious for solo travellers but not double occupancy if you're muslim as the space is limited. You have to open close your bag for praying. There are balconies in the room. Overall, it was a good stay for me.
