Koike was a very welcoming host, offering a ride from and to the station. The breakfasts were also well worth it. Also loved Kodachi Cafe nearby!

Lovely, quiet location with authentic Japanese accommodation style. Neat, clean, bright, airy and cute! Host/owner Mr Koike was very friendly and helpful and drove us to and from Kawaguchiko Station on check-in and check-out.

Great location, 10 mins from Kawaguchiko station and the friendly ryokan owner will pick you up and take you back to the station for free. The ryokan itself is lovely, our room had a kotatsu, kettle, green tea, fridge, and the futons were comfy with plenty of extra blankets if needed. The shared bathroom was fantastic as well, with a piping hot huge bathtub. 15 mins walk takes you to lake Kawaguchi and Yagizaki park. All in all a fantastic stay and a taste of more traditional Japanese hospitality.
