The host and hostess- Colin and Esther were amazing. They made us feel at ease with their home cooked brekkie, their smiles and good humour as well as pointers for the day ahead. Teddy their dog was fantastic too. We learnt that Colin was not just a handsome man but had extraordinary skills as a Mr Fix it, carpentry( beautifully hand crafted tables and benches), a basket weaver, welder etc; i could go on) , whilst Esther quietly went about her business ensuring all was in order.

Wonderful hospitality in lovely surroundings with all we could have wished for in our accomodation. We had a very comfortable stay and had to tear ourselves away from the breakfast table and good company

Lovely homestay with great host and delicious breakfast. The location is great for seeing Fox glacier and Lake Matheson. We loved Trisha’s home baked bread and sweet treats. The breakfast spread was extensive and it was lovely to sit at the table chatting to Trisha, Collin and other guests. Our room was spacious with everything we needed.
