Our stay was honestly the most amazing and special experience. This is a fabulous resort, and everything about the three nights we spent here was above and beyond our expectations. We arrived on my wife's birthday, and were overwhelmed by an upgrade to a suite. This is clearly an exception, and we could not have expected such a surprise, but it was the kindest and most generous act by the staff. However, every aspect of the resort was fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble for the super reception staff, particularly Alison and (I hope I remember this right - Patrick) - whether it was helping to book taxis, tours or give local advice, or whether it was simply helping to spot a sloth in a tree by reception. The pool with swim-up-bar is perfect for happy-hour, and the selection of surrounding thermal pools (all at different temperature) served us so well that we cancelled plans to visit Baldi Hot Springs. This is a very special place with an aspect overlooking Arenal volcano that is second to none. We cannot recommend Arenal Menoa Resort highly enough, and will most definitely be coming back! :-)

Open yet secluded, lots of options on site. Restaurant really good, amazing gluten free menu for Coeliac’s, well managed at breakfast to prevent cross contamination. Villa well stocked, very attentive staff and customer service.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience. The stunning nature all around Arenal made it unforgettable. As for the property — everything was pretty good: nice hot tubs, a great pool, and a clean, beautiful forest surrounding it.
