The view from our window of loch Linnie was amazing,The breakfast menu was cooked to perfection, excellent choices, staff went the extra mile to serve and please us, they were like a family, always happy and smiling, the evening menu was good and the food again excellent, can't wait to return to fort William I'll definitely be booking there again.

Stayed two nights at the Muthu Fort William Hotel during a leisure trip to walk to the summit of Ben Nevis—and we did it! The hotel was a great base for the adventure and offered good comfort and convenience. The location was ideal. A short walk from plenty of restaurants and shops and just a short drive to the start of the walk to Ben Nevis. Our room was clean and quiet, perfect for relaxing after the hike. It’s not luxurious, but it had almost everything we needed. Breakfast had plenty of options and gave us the energy for the climb, and the bar provided a cosy spot to unwind in the evenings. As we'd already made our restaurant bookings elsewhere, we didn't eat at the hotel, but plenty of other guests were giving it a go. The brightest part of our stay was the service, especially from Rose Ann. Her personality, kindness and attention to detail contributed immensely. She greeted us like old friends and made sure we were well looked after. She surprised us on our departure with a gift from the hotel, to mark our achievement of reaching the summit of Ben Nevis. Hotels are often defined by their people, and Rose Ann is truly a gem. We’d stay again for the friendly atmosphere and central location. Great for anyone exploring Fort William, heading up Ben Nevis or catching the Jacobite steam train.
