Location. Staff friendly. Rather dated. Would be expensive to enhance / update rooms. But reflect it in price.

Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of freshly cooked food. If I had to criticise anything it would be the toaster. Like so many hotels their toasters just do not do the job!! I had to put white bread through the toaster 4 times to get it nicely browned and crisp. Why can the catering trade not provide a toaster which is at least on a par with the domestic ones we all use at home?

Location and room size and large window that was open for the heat. Parking was good. Breakfast was good with large selection of foods.

The location is perfect for the high street and also the bus and train station. The staff were very professional and friendly and approachable too. We ate in the restaurant connected to the hotel and the food really was lovely. I would stay here again.
