The extra facilities on the premises were a pleasant surprise. We were able to use the pool, sauna and steam room as well as the large chess set. The apartment was nice and peaceful with an outdoor seating area facing a little stream with loads of rabbits and birds. Very idyllic!

communication and checking in was brilliant, Fernando gave us a tour of the facilities and the cottage and made us feel welcome. The milk and bottle of wine in the fridge was a lovely touch.

We have been to Fort Augustas 3 times and this is the best accommodation yet. Plenty of room and lovely surroundings.
