The location was perfect - a short walk across the river to the Ufizzi and Santa Croce, but far enough away from the crowds, with fantastic views over the city a short walk away. Loads of restaurants and cafes are within five minutes' walk throughout the neighbourhood. The top-floor apartment was beautiful - clean and light, with plenty of space and a lovely south-facing terrace, complete with aromatic honeysuckle. This was pretty much perfect, and exceeded expectations.
