The location was amazing. It’s right opposite Pitti Palace. The property has a lift. Scott, the host, was welcoming and helpful. He gave us some really good recommendations for food in Florence. The flat is incredibly clean and is kitted out with everything a family might need. We had an evening in and the kitchen had all the necessary utensils we needed to cook, set the table and serve. The linen was changed half way through our 7 day stay. We were extremely happy to have chosen this accommodation. P.S. Dostoyevsky wrote his masterpiece Idiot while living in the building, according to a plaque above the entrance door to the building.

All were corresponding to the description in spite of one important detail - every day at 6 am a garbage truck arrives to pick up containers. These trash containers are located just in front of all windows. It was very very noisy! We understand that in historical buildings windows should remain antic and there is no noise isolation. After 6 pm none of us could sleep any longer. But I would not suggest this apartment to people with sensitive sleep.

Perfect location and nice neighborhood... Lots of convenient places to eat and shop nearby, including supermarkets.... Great facilities including fitted kitchen, washer and fridge..
